Qualifications:
• If you have graduated from universities in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering departments.
• If you have advanced proficiency in English, preferably knowledge of Italian.
• If you believe you possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• If you have experience in automotive sheet metal design or are willing to work in this field.
• If you are proficient in at least one 3D design software.
• If you are skilled in Unigraphics, Catia solid, and surface modeling systems.
• If you have preferably worked in automotive product development.
• If you can adapt to project management and dynamic working conditions.
Job Description / Expectations:
• In current and new vehicle projects, design components within your area of responsibility in compliance with the applicable OEM standards, legal requirements, quality, cost, and project timelines, and report the progress.
• Collaborate closely with local or international design partner (co-designer) firms, ensuring that relevant component designs meet OEM standards, quality, cost, and time objectives when necessary.
• Develop technical solutions to resolve identified quality defects in current and new vehicle projects, and carry out or ensure the implementation of activities related to the deployment of these solutions.
• Coordinate the creation and ensure coordination of technical specifications, 3D models, technical drawings, and product cards for the relevant parts.
• Extract the verification requirements of the relevant project component or system and ensure their implementation within the plan.
• Participate in cost improvement initiatives, generate cost improvement proposals, and ensure the implementation and activation of project changes.
• Contribute to the development of the organization’s technical knowledge by creating, conducting, and concluding advanced research projects in the technical field, involving the participation of relevant suppliers and universities.
• Coordinate with internal and external R&D units and suppliers in current/new projects.
• Stay updated on technology and innovation trends in your field, conduct benchmarking studies, and report the findings.
