Project Engineer

Key Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy and Material/Mechatronics/Automotive)

• Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English

• Knowledge of passenger vehicle components

• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience in the automotive industry

• Working knowledge of DVP&R and DFMEA

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Job Description / Expectations:

• This position will be responsible for activities related to the components of the department that will work on both domestic and global projects of the OEM. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in Turkey within OEM’s global network.

• Working with part suppliers is necessary to provide applications in compliance with corporate requirements, specifications, and industry best practices for design features and processes, including manufacturing, assembly, and reliability.

• Ensuring compliance with OEM requirements involves evaluating, simulating, and testing the component design of the supplier.

• Additionally, this position will be responsible for creating and maintaining documents summarizing best practices that support OEM’s internal continuous improvement initiatives and the development of product technology roadmaps.
